The Moodboard features my various inspirations for the dress (with regard to "the client's" requests): A Narciso Rodriguez Fall 08 dress (on Sarah Jessica Parker on the left), energy, light writing, contrasts, corsets, and making the back of the dress the focal with detailing.Below are a few more recent sketches:
"The client" wants what she calls an "anti prom" look. By using a basic a-line silhouette with contrasting bold hues of grape purple and lemon yellow and the asymmetrical ribbon detailing in the back, the dress will read as a new take on a traditional prom dress.
