Rainy days always seem dreary at first, but closer examination lends to good things like having an excuse to see all the colorful and fun rainboots, trenches, and umbrellas.

The color shifting umbrella was a focal point in the gloomy weather today. I also liked seeing someone daring enough to mix patterns--and properly at that! The neutral brown color palette was the underlying theme, and the mix of plaid print and larger stripes makes the look interesting.
