Wild about Frills

This is one fab fashionista I couldn't pass up. It' s great to see layers done creatively yet so beautifully cohesive! She looks perfectly put together, but doesn't over do it (she's still right at home strolling Broughton St.) Her gold shoes and that cute red belt are divine finishing touches!

Summer in the City

Today's post title is inspired by my longing to get back to the city. The pastoral setting of my current location was, and has been lovely, but I'm ready for the fast pace life and energy of the metropolitan landscape.
The photo, likewise, inspired the same longing. There is a sort of sweetness about the photo--with the violet mini dress, ice cream, and ballet flats. The girls are moving, but showing the breezy and easy feeling of the summer months. They show a sort of sweetness that comes only from simplicity.
In a few weeks, I too will be enjoying the summer in the city--the last seconds of it at least. I have hopes that it will evokes the same sort of sweetness.
